And so it begins!!!

Hello to any and everyone that might read this! I have come realize that people blog all the time, so I thought, why not, I guess I could actually do something while sitting at work waiting for something to do! So here I am, blogging! Whoo hoo!

Lets see, my life right now, well...I am recouping! Danielle, my sister, got married last weekend. October 11th, 2008. I am so thankful that is finally over and done with. I know she is too. My responsibilities for this wedding kept growing and growing, but I guess that is common for the maid of honor. From taking the proposal photos, to engagement photos, bridal portraits, and cake baker, my list was crazy! A week before the wedding my sister was giving me Scott's ring to hold on to and she said "Are you sure you can handle this? You have a lot on your plate right now." Well, hello....did I have a choice? NO!! But it's all good! I took the position of Maid of Honor with honor, and I was very proud to be there for her on her special day! That special day didn't come without it's problems, from the cake flipping over in the trunk of my car, to the bell not being able to be rung, to almost forgetting the ring. But nonetheless, she is now Danielle Lusk and happy in love somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico.

She claims nothing will change now that she is a married woman, but I beg to differ. Even now, I have a date on Thursday and I am not able to tell her about it. At least not til Sunday. Too bad, I guess she just misses out on the whole thing. I'll update later on Thursday night.

Now that Danielle no longer lives with me, I now have the pleasure of my little sister as a house mate. Wow how it is different. From the food to the cleanliness......I hate to say it, but I think it might be better. Don't get me wrong I love Danielle, but living with Kasey will get me eating healthier and hopefully cleaner! I can't wait to be able to come home to a house that doesn't have school books and shoes thrown about the living room, with dirty crusty dishes in the sink that were promised to be cleaned the day before. Ok, now it just sounds like I am venting, I should probably stop.

I think I could get use to this blogging thing.....that might be a bad thing in time! We shall just have to wait and see.
